Wulagi School became an Independent Public School in 2016. This included the replacement of the School Council with a School Board. The Board has the same legal powers and functions as a school council, but with greater autonomy to carry out those functions.
As well as providing financial and strategic oversight, Wulagi School Board is focused on engaging families into school and running events that support higher parent involvement. If you would like to be involved please contact the school.
The School Board consists of at least four parent representatives including the Chair, two community representatives, a teaching staff representative, the Principal, the Business Manager as Treasurer and the Assistant Principal as an observer and Principal delegate as needed.
